I recently created a cubing community on Digg (digg.com). I was fortunate enough to be in the closed beta of the platform, but recently it opened up to the public and added community creation. If you're wondering, the site is supposed to be akin to Reddit, with separate communities, upvoting/downvoting, etc.
If this seems interesting to you, feel free to make an account and join the /cubing community.
*Also, if any mods think that this doesn't qualify as "general speedcubing discussion", I'll happily change it
