I already own an MGC but if the Yushi pops less I might save for it too.Tighten the cube until you can barely get any gap, then
practice
practice
practice
practice doing centers, scramble and do it again
practice doing edges, scramble and do it again
practice doing 3×3 solves on 6×6, scramble and do it again
practice algs (from whaever method you use) over and over
practice Last2Edges algs and both parity algs over and over
until your turning and control actually grow to become good enough to not have nearly so much trouble with pops and lockups anywhere near as often.
By that time you will orobably also be kich faster thanks tonall the different kinds of good practice ans solid time you invested with the cube in the journey to get to the Land of Progress
And make sure you're using a decent magnetic 6×6
I would recommend trying the YJ Yushi V2M 6×6, its less than $20
it has good anti-pop tech in the pieces, and its not a fast cube so it's easier to control
the MGC is def a better cube overall, and faster, and surely YJ put all the good features of the Yushi into the mix when they designed the MGC 6I already own an MGC but if the Yushi pops less I might save for it too.
An edge-centre piece from what, in place of what missing piece in your MGC 6? Your question isn't fully specified.Theoretically, would an edge-center piece fit in the MGC? Cos my dad knocked over a few pieces when I had a full pop and I cant find that exact piece.
Same… I can tolerate 4x4 though. Nothing bigger.I also hate 6x6, and big cubes altogether. The trick I use to make solving them enjoyable is to do it blindfolded.
From the Yushi V2, and its the centerpiece that is on the second layer out that isn't a corner center. I thought that since the Yushi is similar to the MGC it might fit, as they are both made by YJ.An edge-centre piece from what, in place of what missing piece in your MGC 6? Your question isn't fully specified.
But the answer is "no" anyway. Pieces are almost never interchangeable across different models.
2x2 is so addictive. Every month or two I start doing 2x2 again and do like a thousand solves and learn a few Clls, then I forget them a week laterWe all have events we hate with a burning passion. For me that is OH and 2x2
For me, all of them. The only one that posed an interesting problem to me was 3x3 but I've come to too many dead ends in method development, leading me to despise it.We all have events we hate with a burning passion.
I used to dislike OH a lot but after practicing it for a comp I kinda like it a lot now, maybe a Stockholm Syndrome kinda thing. We all have events we hate with a burning passion. For me that is OH and 2x2
They may be similar, but you need the cuts to be compatible (tl;dr if they're not exactly the same, chances of compatibility go down a lot) for the pieces to be interchangeable. If I'm not mistaken, while the Yushi v2 and the MGC 6 are both 65 mm cubes, the MGC has very slightly thinner inner layers and very slightly wider outer layers.I thought that since the Yushi is similar to the MGC it might fit, as they are both made by YJ.
