I can't do R2 U when solving OH. D:

When solving OH with my left hand, I can't do R2 U, meaning I can't do the table-abuse-less clockwise U-Perm. When doing R2 (pinky flick, then ring finger flick) I have to set my index finger on the FUL corner for U afterwards, which is really slow. If I set it before, I can't do R2. I've tried doing the old OH U method(pushing the BUL corner), but that requires me to reset my finger to continue with the U-Perm. Can someone give me some tips/exercises? Thanks.

I think you mean z for the rotation. Unless you normally have your last layer on D, that is

I am crap at OH solving, but I think a smaller cube would help a little bit.

Yeah you have to either not do the double trigger on the R2, or do index finger push on BUL.

How do you even do the double trigger OH? I find that I need to regrip it after I do so.
