I saw on the videos you first need to get out of a corner and then an edge.
By the most people this go really easy.
Or you cut more than 50 degrees, than he pop (watch out for you eyes).
Or you can turn U 45 degrees, then take out the edge as normal, but just take it out in one side first (so the torpedo gets freed). That's how I do it.
There are many ways: You can split apart 2 corners and take the edge out, take out corners first, take out 2 corners and an edge at the same time, or unscrew the screw.
Seriously though I think most people pull out a corner first and then an edge. That's how I do it anyway. Then when you're putting it back together, put the corner in last.
Turn a layer 45 degrees. Grab hold of the on entire 3 piece slice (2 corners 1 edge). Hole them by the corner pieces with 2 fingers. With the other hand get a solid grip on the cube and pull those 3 pieces out all at the same time. It may take a few tries to get used to doing it, but IMHO it works better than trying to remove a single edge piece. To put it back you can either put all 3 pieces back the same way you took them out or assemble it like a normal cube (corners then the edge). If you do it this way you'll have to make a big gap in between the corners to add the edge piece.
