This is my gear cube method! If anyone knows what I should name this, leave it in the comments!

1: “Line”
This is not a line, but it is close. It is 2 corners next to Eachother (also this step is bassicly Base Corner orientation but with a side of the corners solved)

2: Opposite Orientation
Orient the edges so they are opposite of the other center or the same as the center in front, for example, a checkerboard pattern is oriented!
This can be done in an algorithm, or intuitively.

3: Permute Opposites
You would solve the gear cube by doing a decently intuitive algorithm. If you solved the corners instead of orienting them, this is a lot easier.

Heres a case:

LINE + DOT:
L D2’ L’ D D3

These algs are pretty intuitive so it should be easy to figure cases out

Also can someone tell me how many algs Permute opposites have?

called it "C.L.O.P." pronounced as clock but replace ck with p. very memorabke name and stands for
"Charles, Line, Opp. Orientation, Permute Opposites"
