How to modify a cube

I have had some questions about modifying a cube. Such as how to do it, where to get the parts, what are the benefits????

What cube/modification? Usually all that is required is a screwdriver and some sand paper, but if it's a 6x6 thats another story.

If you want to have some fun get some parts from different cubes, see how they interact with each other, etc., and mess around with the shaping of pieces until you get a favorable result.

There's more than one type of cube. It would be nice if you actually told us which size cube, what make/model, and what you want to do with it.

Seriously though, what do you want to do? What's your goal with this?

It's not really like you mod a cube just for the sake of modding it. If there's something you dislike about it, then you can try to find a way to fix that or you can get another cube. You seem to think that there is some sort of comprehensive list of cube modifications somewhere and you can just pick whichever one(s) you want. That isn't really the case. It almost sounds to me like you're closer to describing different cube types than mods. If that's the case, do some searching around or look at some of the stickies (maybe this one?)in the hardware area to learn about the differences between types of cubes.
