I got this from qqTimer. I think this is the shortest 2x2 scramble ever.
Edit: I'm sorry for the sub-forum. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

This is using the half turn metric by the way.
From this table you can see that most positions on a 2x2x2 cube need a maximum of 10 moves to get to. That's why scrambles can be so short.
