How many times a day do u play the rubik's cube.... i play it for the whole day and my mom says i am crazy.... and my stickers are 1 day old and there is a small tear in the red... am i playing too long??

I've been solving maybe 50-150 times a day but I'm slowing down. I need to find faster algorithms and this cube is stiffer now so I can barely turn it sometimes, it's constantly locking and my fingers, hands and wrists are tired from so much solving ^^.

hahhaa... icic...looks like i not the onli 1.... i solve like 100+ a day... non stop... adictive.... :D.... the stickers last for a short while onli...haha

I love speedcubing. I cube everyday, whenever i have the free moment Its wicked addictive for me. It can actually be hard for me to put down a cube.

When i started i solved it maybe a 100x a day. Now maybe 40 - 50.

Here's an average range of my Rubik's Cube activity! :-P

Times per day: 1 to 2
Minutes per day: 20 to 50
Solve per day: 20 to 40

You can determine if you're playing with the Rubik's Cube too much based on:
- Fingers/Thumbs are are getting calluses and are sore
- Work isn't being completed as the time spent solving the cube replaces it

I pretty much treat the time spent solving the cube as a means of passing the time on public transport and in some cases as something to do while having a break from studying for a few hours straight.

i solve it when im in the toilet... school, eating, basiclly 20 hours of playing cube... massive addiction

yea its hard to put the sucker down :)
i just have it right next to the computer, so when I wait for a download, or talk with people on MSN and wait for their answers, or watch a tv show/movie, i just play with it. So its really throughout the day probably every day... but sessions go anywhere from 5 seconds - 1 hour :)

I struggle to put down a cube aswel, I think I'll take it to school tomorrow, my friend don't believe I've managed it in (my new record) or 36.01 seconds.

I'm completely addicted, all through to holiday I did it, learnt Roux, Petrus, Fridich and Layer by Layer. I hope I don't get bored of it because at the moment I'm finding it really fun, people ask me why I do it again and again because they say it's the same, but it's different each time and there's so many different cases you can have.

I've always been one for puzzles and tricky things, I like using logic and working out problems, it's fun and is a sort of brain exercise.

I usually play with the cube a few hours a day. I am in the process of learning the 5x5x5 cube by heart... that takes up a few hours a day to say the least. I have about 15 cubes or so, I usually just scramble them all and then solve them over and over. I play the things on the train and in waiting rooms. Actually I spend too much time on the things....

exact the same situation over here

I recently started high school and not have much time to cube. When I do have time to cube, I'm exhausted from all the homework, and I don't cube.

It's a sad life :(

Well on weekends about 2-3 hours a day? Those weekends are the ones when I'm free, and not have cross-country meets, or people coming over.

I cube as much as I can pretty much. I'm sure its over 100 solves a day plus memorizing algs and stuff... I almost always have a cube in my pocket if I'm wearing shorts with big pockets on the side. So I just pull it out whenever I'm bored.

Usually 30 minutes a day, at weekends 30 minutes...
Now 10 minutes a day, at weekends 30 minutes...
I want to thank my school personally.:(

But I allways think of cubing, I barely excersise, because I get tired very fast and get a headache of cubing too much.

Thinking is a good training for me though, I got some PB's at Czech and Lyon thanks to that.:)
