How I should continue?

cookinfat, he will get soon (also DIY)

Cyber, you should train both; you know how to put things fast->you have time to follow pieces also :) Good luck for sub-20 avg :)

Thx for that :p

Here it is again! New video! Week 10!

See it here: http://www.youtube.com/user/CyberRubiks

1st-4th solve ok
5th solve REALLY REALLY BAD MESS UP THINKING SO MUCH AND STILL WRONG ALLG USUALLY I WOULD DO IT IN 5SEC... NOW I WAS COLD AND SOMETHING JUST HAPPENED!

Anything alse to say about vid?

Time Penalty +2 ;). Nice solve, and how long goes this thread on? till you're cubing for a year :D

Time Penalty +2 .
It looked to me like he was about to hit the "stop" button, but then adjusted the up face before actually pushing it. Oh, but I guess the cube should be out of the hands before hitting "stop"?
That´s right cause as u can see I press it after adjusting
and if u press it twice in that program u cant see the time anymore in that place("big screen")...

And u are right it should be out of hands before stop the timer but Im not gonna do that offical solves now...maybe after sub 15sec :)

I think that blind solve will impress more so I started my blind solve training!

Im gonna still do speed solves at school cause I want to keep this as secret(It will impress more):D
Anyway Im gonna go back to normal solves after the competition:)

I did already my first blindfold success :P after 5 hours training:)
Didn´t timed it...

training fast memorization now and no solves...

If you end up doing a BLD solve then I would say go for safety rather than time. It's better to spend a little extra time in memo and get a slightly slower successful solve (alliteration :D) than to DNF.

I agree. All my 29 successful BLD solves have been done in private. When I do them in public, like in a bar, my memo and execution gets distracted by voices, music, or noise. (I know beers tend to make it almost impossible for me.) I have however, demonstrated to people how I can solve an 11 cycle of edges while holding the cube down and looking straight upward. I also like to perform with my hands under a table top, but then it is hard for people to watch my hands twist the cube. If you want to do it in public, try practicing at home with an annoying TV infomercial or talk radio program blaring in the background.

Im gonna do it! Thx:)
My "family" is noisy:p

Ps. Im gonna ge t sub 3min in 3 weeks...

i reckon a fortnight.
at least one proper BLD solve every day (not counting the day on which you learn) and you could be sub 3.
add that to 2 or 3 speedsolves using your BLD method a day... and you'll be sorted :)

is it me or u r turning quite relax and achieving fast times... ? I watched ur video and see that u solve quite relax and ur f2l fast.. my solves always tend to speed up but also almost same time as yours~.~"

I think you could possibly make it. You've already developed enough basic speed. The only problem is:

1. It will take away from the time you spend practicing getting faster at 3x3x3.
2. Blindfold cubing is addicting. After you get your first one, you may very well stop improving at 3x3x3 for a while - you'll be spending all your time doing blindfold solves.

I hope it happens. :)

Im not addicted yet xD maybe soon when I really realize how easy it is:)

And Im gonna continue speed cubing after 3weeks I hope xD

me and you can start (again) together cyber :)
i learnt 3 cycle a while ago, and had about 3 successful attempts of about 10, so i got p****d off and left it. my memo is horrific as well, so i didnt time any.
might do some 2x2 BLD tomorrow, see where i go from there...

yeah Cyber, learn blindfold it's more satisfying and rewarding.

I really want to get faster, I can't imagine I'd be able to get sub 3 minutes anytime soon though, maybe we should race to get the first sub-3?

Escher, what do you normally get?

I would be happy for race... =D
And we all can "start again"! =P
(U have already some lead but it will hapend
cause I think i cube more than u used to?)

What is ur normal solve average? O.o' !?

Ps. Corners are the hard part during blind solve!!!
