How I should continue?

U all were right...
I noticed today that my cube is too slow for my speed...
Also my look-a-head would be better...

How to make my cube better than it is?:)

3 letters for that: DIY

Many ppl have been noticed that DIY cubes are better; i haven't get my order yet after about 1 month after ordering! :(

Im not gonna get it for while...
Or maybe I got a really little chance for it:)
I would like to get it cause my cube is breaking up and pops.
Also normal cubes are mostly bad...:(

Why don't you get them? I have also changed from a normal cube to a DIY and it's much smoother but I don't have to tell you that because you already know:p.
But it would be smart to get one, it really makes a difference

to make your cube better, take all the pieces out, clean them, sand off any impurities or blemishes, sand down (just a little bit) the edges of the pieces.
then play it around a bit, and then lube it. be careful about sanding, though. if you do too much on a storebought, you'll end up popping it all the time, and obviously you cant tighten it to compensate...
hope that makes some kind of difference. restickering your cube is nice too :)

anyway, buy DIY!

Im gonna do this 1 day before 10week to get my cube as good as it is possible :)
DIY is hard to get cause my mom dont like internet cash... Hate it...
Anyway I try to get it one way or another...:);)

Like every1 else says - GET a DIY! It keep u over 25sec...
Seriously!!! Every1 should have DIY... GET IT, WHAT EVER IT COSTS! xD

Still doing some fast progress!

Now:
Single: - - - - 19.00sec
Average 3/5: - 23.23sec
Average 10/12: 25.25sec
Average 200: - 28.54sec(My skills went up a lot during this!)

Anyway Im happy for it!
Still too bad...
I can handle it without DIY for now :)
Still getting it as soon as it is possible...

well...diy or not..also diff I think 1 or 2 secs.. it wouldn't bring him straight down to 20.. my diy and storebought just 0.5~1 sec diff on average.. and my storebought haven't even pop once after 4 months..I can't even take out the edge of it..and it is turning great and smooth..but sold to my friend last week and got back the money I spent for it =P.. once u get ur diy, if u want to save money..sell ur storebought to ur friends..I believe ur storebought is very smooth and fast now and many ppl wants it.. ^_^

Yeah I can sell it :P Sure they wants it... :D and it is smooth and great! :D
But I want use it...it is just too good!!!

Dude my DIY type A cubes just arrived yesterday and I've have seen a big difference with my time. The cube turns soooo fast and it is smooth, judging by the amount of cubing you do, be sure to buy more stickers when you are buying the cube.

i have stickers but cube haven't arrived and i've waited like over 1 month... Is here someone who had to wait cube from masterthecube so long too? :(

Thx...Im training 4*4*4 and OH. Not yet BLD but many different methods with 3*3*3!

Anyway...Im gonna buy much more stickers than cubes :) After i can get one DIY cube... -_-'

Can u tell me all anything about DIY? Ur DIY experience? Difference between storebought and DIY cube?

Well first of all, I've bought a type A and D, by my opinion I prefer the type A. It feels more stable and it is very smooth. The type D feels like it is always going to pop, and it doesn't cut corners all that well.

I bought the cubes for cube4you and they are the just the old type A not the newer ones.

Compared to stored bought cube (Rubiks), they cut corners more, eg: my type A if I turn the right side at a 45 degree and then turn the top layers, it doesn't get trapped it is smooth as.

Also you can adjust the spring and whatever of a DIY cube which is also good.
So I definitely recommend you buying a type A cube. But Obviously is all on preference.

I have also bought a type A and type D cube. Maybe it sounds a bit weird but I use the type D core in the type A. It feels better because it cut corners better and it pops not so much as a normal type A with type A core.

I could recommend you a type D and type A and find out by yourself what's the best cube.

30 pages? Wow.
This thread should be given this honor: "The Thread That Has Gone Most Off Topic" :D

Thx for that :p

Here it is again! New video! Week 10!

See it here: http://www.youtube.com/user/CyberRubiks

1st-4th solve ok
5th solve REALLY REALLY BAD MESS UP THINKING SO MUCH AND STILL WRONG ALLG USUALLY I WOULD DO IT IN 5SEC... NOW I WAS COLD AND SOMETHING JUST HAPPENED!

Anything alse to say about vid?

bloody hell cyber, 17.52?? was that an OLL skip, or just a very smooth transition? you didnt even move particularly quickly at all. you really have come along...
lol that could quite easily have been a sub 15 with faster turns (i.e a DIY):D

no it was full solve...

Story:
It was my second time when I can see how to get X-Cross
I get my cam and desided to make it slow and smooth
luckily no lock ups until the end and I look-a-head a lot

Now Im wondering... look-a-head or really fast identify(no look-a-head durin slotting...slot pieces as fast as possible)? Which should max first?

Ps. I got easy good times with look-a-head but fast identify helps me to get faster times...
