How I should continue?

At the same time, I told my friend Brunson about the idea and he liked it. So he wrote a version that includes both a random PLL *and* a random OLL. After a while, he ported it to a web application and posted a link to it in this forum somewhere. It's still up, and it still works. It's also much more patient than even 2 very good friends. :p Give it a try:

http://brunson.com/drillsergeant/

Brian.

This is a very useful program! And more patient :D:D I gonna use it too:p

Yeah maybe i should fill the last slot by myself :)

Anyway guys...or girls, Im not gonna just train OLL and PLL 10 hours. They can just help me 1-2 hours xD rest of the time Im gonna use alone!

Im gonna try that program :D after doing vid after 8 weeks train :D:D:D

Ps. i can find a scrambler always when ever I need to solving cubes! And those 2 who are solving F2L, they need to practice it and they will help me while helping theirselfs...

Im back...finally!
I hate that camp kinda...I LOVE IT but my skills went up just a little bit! SO LITTLE! Next 4 days Im gonna be cubing like crazy... 10+ hours per day!
I willl be interested about ur week 9 video IF U TRAIN THAT HARD!

I will :D But finally! Here are my videos...especially my week 8 solve. It was a bit luckily extended cross(I was trying just normal cross)...anyway my avarage is around 30sec nowadays!

Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/user/CyberRubiks

I hope u enjoy! :D:D:D:D:D

I must say that you are 1 crazy cuber. Have a break, meet friends and get fresh air...

Your development is fast! hope we'll see sub-20 soon :)

Nah... But thx :P "Crazy cuber" xD
Would like to find girlfriend anyway xD
Im hoping sub 20 avarage after 10weeks total cubing...
My videos in youtube was avarage videos...nowadays kinda good solves(under avarage) and soon posting 5 or 10 solves avarage videos!

okay, that was quite a nice solve. however, there were a couple of moments that were clear weaknesses (not to insult the solve or anything). the OLL you had was one of the quickest OLLs there is, so that should definitely have been a lot faster.
also your f2l was a little 'gappy'. in your response to your PM, slower and smoother is now the answer:) it prevents pauses, and most lockups. Once your f2l is nice and smooth, speed it up more and more, back up to, and past, your normal times :)

I really wish i had a camera to get some real advice. I've been seing that slow and efficient is the best way to improve your times, and I've been doing that. I average even 20 just a friggin nick over 30 (30.12 or something). Sub 30 solves of 5 are easy, and 10's still not too hard, but I really don't consider that a sub 30 average. Anyway I use 2lll and petrus f2l but my ll is soooo much faster than my f2l. I get just over 20 f2l on average, and about 7 on ll. My pll time attack record is 1:08.xx. Should I work on my plls to train my hands just a little bit faster so I can get sub 30, or the obvious but difficult to achieve obvious answer I know I'm going to recieve, slow and steady.

Im trying to do it escher but it is hard to see better times doing stuff slower! My left hand is still weak and that was the reason for slow OLL. Im gonna do slow and smooth solves as much as I can. Anyway that video is not realistic cause Im somwhow different during videos! Shaking maybe just a little.

Panda I cant say nothing...dont know anything about petrus :( or u using friedrich too? If yes...at first I can say...learn all little tricks. It may help u sub 30... here is some vid about F2L tricks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWIVYF3AEc4 Maybe it can help u!

ANYWAY...IF ANY I NOTICE ANY WEAK POINT! JUST WRITE IT AND CRITICIZE ME! It will lead me up to better times...

Yeah I'm aware you're not a block builder user. I would be a Friedrich person but I used a lbl method for like a year and have done thousands upon thousands of solves with it, and it really strikes me as incredibly repetitive and not very exciting. I just find block building "cooler" if you will. Like the first time I did Petrus I couldn't stop because i found it so cool to solve it in blocks like that. And as far as going slower, the purpose is to improve your technique. I personnally don't time solves like that, because they would obviously be slower, and being under time, I can't make myself go slowly. It also works on your recognition and your ability to see ahead of what you're doing. Kind of like when I'm doing full tredge pairing on my 5x5, once I find all the pieces and start moving them together, I can find another pair that would be easy next, or even a pair that would be created on a slice back!(I don't know if you've ever tried a big cube before) I've been doing like whole one minute f2l's in sets of like 50 or so, and I'm already gaining the ability to see maybe 8 moves ahead one the first block, and just overall more efficient techniques. Oh and watch vids of your method from multiple people to see how they do it, you may learn a new approach.

lookahead is even more important in blockbuilding methods, but im sure you know this. so practice looking ahead!
yes, cyber, going slow is only so that you can practice your technique, there is no point timing (unless you enjoy getting slower).
The more efficient your f2l is, the faster you can be. avoid cube rotations. be aware of whats going on on the sides of the cube you cannot see (ie if there is a corner and edge pair 'stuck' in the wrong orientation, use an algorithm (when completing other pairs) that uses that particular slot as an 'empty' or 'working' slot so that you kick them out and can deal with it in fewer moves). try to reduce pauses. speed up execution once you've trained lookahead. keep your cube well lubed (and cyber, get a DIY!!! THAT is the main thing that is holding you back). keep the pause between cross + the beginning of f2l as small as possible.
theres a lot you could be doing :)
in order...
- Buy a DIY
- when starting a session, start slowly, using lots of lookahead with very few pauses, then slowly build up speed until you aren't pausing and going really fast! (i find that if im doing crap times, 3 slow solves is like a 'supercharger' for my look ahead)
- experiment with different insertions. for example FRF'R' flips the cubies on the left of the pair you are inserting. you can use this to your advantage during f2l (do i hear... multislotting?).
- have fun. if you get bored, and keep doing it, you will never improve. having regular breaks in practicing, and having other brain expanding activities are necessary too!

I've been getting stuff within a second of this all day =] Im sooooo close. I got a 27 avg 5 in that one too.

I asked already...how to get a DIY? I know that on the internet but they are selling for dollars not euros...and I dont know anything about "internet cash"!

1. Im doing a lot natural speed solves... no speed no slow mostly non stops(except before OLL I cant handle all olls yet) around 5/8 of my time
2. just 3-10 times timed 12 SPEEDY SOLVES section
3. I think all algs past and try different seperated cases during writing here and reading a lot from internet! Also looking videos and so on...also my own solve videos(Hardly do one...)!
4. finger trick Im training maybe 1/4 of my time every day. I just do couple of moves as fast as I can then pause and then more(build cross, pause, first pair to its slot, pause, 2nd, pause, 3rd, pause, 4th, pause, OLL, pause, and PLL)
5. Real slow solves no stops, not even a one during solve(hardly stop even with OLL) around 20times per day
6. Having fun when ever I have cube!
Does this sound good?

This was interesting!

sometimes....... FU is the answer to all the questions in the universe.

Holy crap Cyber thats amazing! DOUBLE U TEE EFF!

Check out my thread I just made, do an average of those! You'll most definitely beat me by like 5 seconds. My F2l =poop. BTW those arent the real scrambles, I just added them into CCT so I could average them easily, I was in my room at 11 last night trying to finnaly do a avg. 50 f2l.

i think they are roughly equivalent to type (a)s. and as far as i know they are good cubes, certainly better than the vast majority of storeboughts.
i actually plan on getting one before the UK Open.
i think it comes made and prelubed :)

Yeah a DIY destroys any store bought cube on the market, at least in america for sure.

Panda...u r better, no matter how much but anyway! Ok maybe I should get one good cube finally! Anyway Im feeling like my main cube is exploding any sec...it gonna be gone soon :(:(:(
