How I should continue?

Just telling that I get my goals for 1month and 1week :P
congrats...hmm, just curious do u train 2x2,4x4,5x5,bld 3x3,OH or any other puzzles? I see u improving very fast...I got around 35 secs avg after near 2.5 months of cubing..but also got learn 2x2,4x4,5x5,bld 3x3,3x3 OH,pyraminx and rubiks magic at the same time...

cause I heard that he learned all the PLLs in less than 3 days:eek:
It is possible to learn 21 plls in less than 3 days...I learned plls in like 4 days... just have to see got heart to learn or not... and I think also have to find a good method on how to memorize long algorithms in short time...once found the method, then should be easy to memorize all oll algorithms...just have to see got spirit to learn or not..

Im around avarage 36-37sec for now! 1month and 1 week gone :P And my record is (not lucky) 25sec. Best avarage 10/12 35sec.
Im working with different cubes 3, 4, 5 layer cubes. Mostly 3*3*3! Yeah sure it is :P And now Im learning all OLLs during other training :O
U can check my goals from page 1 :P ->

Sure I want :P And Im gonna keep it going till I get sub 5sec avarage 12/10 or I reach the age of 30 xD Yeah and this is my progress forum where every1 can give me advices and they can follow my progress... I hope that they are going to change this to speedcubers center :P Not beginners anymore PLOX! When they gonna change this? I get already 36-37 avarages and BP non luck 25sec!!!???

how old r u now? serious that u going to train 6~13 hours everyday till age of 30? usually beginning first few months will surely be very interested and cube 6~13 hours.. but imagine years...

Im 18 years old ^^ I'm just wondering to be as fast as human can be :P All algs and every situation would be kinda great to know as well as "multiplication table" xD I'm just a bit ambitious ppl xDDD I will post everything about my sucsess here :P Im gonna make that 6-13hours to 2-3 hours when I have graduating test and military but kinda like so :P

Btw. My first cube ever is going to break up and pieces pops T_T But just month and week with it T_T

And today I desided to become full friedrich's method user :P I started to learn 2 LLL! I already know all the PLLs(21/21). So today starts my way to learn all OLLs and I think this was kinda good start :P Now I know kinda many :O (15/57) Tomorrow Im gonna learn atleast 8 more I think...

youve progressed pretty fast cyber! learn the badmephisto.com OLLs. i think most of them are the best around. there are lots of the OLLs that are just the T-OLL with set-up moves, or 'fat' sunes or anti-sunes (the first & last move is changed to an r' instead of R' etc), or half of a PLL (first half of Y) etc. this way ive learnt about 25, and ive actually only just begun to learn the algs that are algs 'in their own right'.
good luck getting to that sub-5 average :)

Wow, that's crazy! I was on beginner F2L for 2 months, gave up 2 months, Then went back for about 3-5 more weeks before I started getting times like yours (that's with about 6 PLLs). Then I got stuck at barely sub-30 and now I'm stuck at 19-23 average...
How did you pick up on Fridrich F2L and learn all the PLLs so quickly?

Yeah, I have noticed my progression :P Thx anyway... I think it would be even faster but Im too lazy xD I looked badmephistos videos and I think they were good but Im not gonna learn his OLLs. Thx anyway for suggestion, they are welcome always!!! I will tell ya when I have learned all of those. Anyway, almost all OLLs that Im using are not used recent... most of them I have collected here http://www.cdf.toronto.edu/~g6karpat/plls/pll.html and here http://www.cubewhiz.com/oll.html but I have done them easier for me(less cube rotations and using more "easy" layers for me and most of them without double layer turns!! I dont like them much). I can send u my version if u want to see those. Just ask, I have writen friedrich methods guide also during my reseach of algs.

Then story about fast improve :P Here are my secrets, I dont have much but i hope that some1 atleast find way out with these! So at first I didnt stuck too long with beginners method. I never reached even 1min avarage with beginners method. I noticed that ppl cant ever get sub 10sec with it! And that is true so I searhed web looking for good method to solve cube and suddenly I ended up to badmephistos youtube profile. Then I watched all his videos about friedrich method and that was it how I desided to use friedrich method. In here, Kauhajoki, he is not many cubers and all of them are using beginners method! I hate it...no challengers! I noticed that F2L puts corner and the edge together their position, so, at next day I didnt even watched tutorials for it. I just took my cube and started to spin it and I find out those F2L cases. I did it in 3 days. No algs needed! That was the start. After it I learned corner orientation cause I can do edge orientation already! I repeated all of those corner orientations every night before going to bed so that was great for memorizing. I never finished the cube during 2-3 days. I just let it wait for PLL(anyway I scrambled it again)! Those 7 algs were easy but then I started learning PLLs and I repeated all of those which i have already learned twice every night! This took 3 days to learn all PLLs. That way I was able to complete cube again! I was alone first 3 weeks! No advices from any1! But then this awesome website!!! I have trained this all combinated together 2 and half weeks for now. And then I decided taht Im gonna learn full friedrich method cause algs are much easier to learn than faster fingertricks and I want fast progress. That was for AvarageCuber who wroted on my forum! I thought that he knows what he is talking about and I never regret that! I was thinking like so but he was the last drop for it xD As well as Eschers advices thx :P I can just say thx for every advice! Algs are easier for me and thats why I prefer those! The main thing why I learned those algs fast was that I didnt copy algs, I re-wroted them and trained a lot!

Summarize from me!
Dont get stuck with beginners method!
Do "slow solves" and "fast solves" every day!
Learn all algs as fast as it is possible, but train also normal solve during every day!
Write those algs easier for for u. Find the natural algs!
Reserch those algs and follow the removed pairs during those algs!
Memorize algs... dont learn all in a row. Break after corner orientation, break after PLLs, and just training after OLLs!
Tens of thousands solves or even more! SO TRAIN!

Any1 wanna disagree with me? Anything wrong with these? Anyway this is the way with me :P

Ps. It was hard to even realize that Escher is one of the most fastest with his progress... And still he is saying that Im fast O.o

Pps. How I learned F2L so fast? I was always good at math(3D perceives) I think it is one reason. Others, I trained long time everyday. I did all moves slowly till I was absolutely sure that I can see those situations easily. I just noticed some kinda of turns combination which works always and that way it was easier to learn it without algs. I guess so but I dont know for sure! :P

Ppps. PPL ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO ME!!! AS LONG AS SOME1 IS WONDERING MY PROGRESS, SPURRING ME UP OR CRITICISING MY STYLE, FORUM, WRITING STYLE, SPEED OR TIMETABLE, IM GONNA IMPROVE FAST!

U are writing beginner guide now!!!??? :P Kinda pretty... Just wating ur speed! :O And u are writing good infos for some1 I think, really! Atleast 1 day xD

yeah, sure ,why not?

This was my noob goal: 1 month and 2 week record 23sec Avarage 32sec! Today I cubed a bit and I reached good times:

Avarage 10/12: 32.63sec

31.47, 31.62, 32.20, 33.83, 30.03, (36.83)
35.66, 35.09, (27.74), 30.08, 32.83, 33.47

It was way too easy and I have reached single cube BP 25sec... I got 4 days left to get my goals...It will be easy...Should I make harder goals? :P

well..I ain't very surprise of ur learning speed..because I also learn algorithms quite fast (as in around 5~10 mins for a new algorithm)..just that quite lazy to learn all..I usually see the benefit of learning first before I really learn it..intuitive f2l is quite easy..took me around 1 hour to learn and a few more days to be able to solve all 41 cases intuitively..

but I really respect the amount of time u can spend on cubing...eventhough I cube around 1~2 hours a day on holidays/weekends and less than 30 mins on weekdays..my parents are already bugging me like crazy... because this year having major exams.. sad =(

so for ur fast improvements.. I can see that..I cubed 130 days for now... 130 days x 1 hour 30 mins(estimated average 1 hour 30 mins per day) = 195 hours.. for u.. around 41 days now if not mistaken?.. 41 days x 6 hours(least) = 246 hours, but if count 6~13 hours(in between = 9.5 hours) 41 days x 9.5 hours = 389.5 hours !!... so I can see u cubed much more than me(as in if really count amount of time spent on cube) =P

anyway..I can see lots of new records in the near future, because I can see many new cubers that are very into cubing...

5-10min...not gonna hapend...or yeah bu need little break after couple u need to progress it into ur head! I need to say that my time Im cubing, I spend it not so effectly cause I chat with ppl during and Im talking with friends during. Maybe just 3-4hours nonstop cubing taking times + all others...anyway lot! The less ppl cubes the more their brains get time... is not the key to progress... I got also major exams in this year but they are in 4 months.

BTW! NEW SINGLE RECORD... Lucky X-Cross in 5 moves... otherwise non-luck

22.30 22.30 22.30 22.30 22.30 22.30 22.30 22.30 22.30 22.30 22.30
IT WAS 22.30 sec GREAT! I GOT THAT IN 41 DAYS!

Cause if no PLL or OLL or many slot fills needed ppl used to say it was luck...

congrats.. well..5~10 mins is able to memorize, but will surely forget if do not use it often, so need to revise it everyday to perform it fast and wont pause to think of it.. even now I also spent around 10~15 mins each day to revise all the algorithms I learned (2<+2 mirror> edge orient ll, 7 cross oll cases,8 dot oll, 21 pll, orientation + permutation parity, algos for edge pairing, and ortega method algos)

I usually learn 8 in day and after them I got 20hours break after next...
I dont need to memorize them except when I got situation during solve... every OLL and PLL once atleast in day....so many solves...

Np :P I will tell u soon... 23 OLLs for now...

Btw... need to relube my record cube...I was in bad shape during these records xD

Ok. I have been cubing for 6 weeks for now...
And here is video, what can I do after 6 weeks practicing...
Im slow and embarrassed but check my vid :S
