How fast can you learn Fridrich? (And How fast can I?)

Like 3 days for me. Algorithms? pshaa. Just need to learn those like 3 cases and than u gots it. <lol grammar fail
It's true though. Just figure out 3 distinct cases for F2L, and you'll be able to intuitively figure out most/all of the different orientations of F2L. That's essentially how I ended up learning F2L.

UPDATE:

It is day 8, and having learned every case intuitively (and the most common ones both algorithmically and intuitively) I took my First Fridrich Average.

Average of 5: 1:03.45

1:17.89
58.31
1:15.36
1:03.89
41.81 New PB with any method

I am still in stage where my times are inconsistent so I am pretty sure it is common to be inconsistent while learning F2L, I have recently started to hit high 30's however...at times if I lose focus or cannot find a piece my times can go into the mid 50's and if I make a mistake, slightly over a minute. However, when I first started a few weeks ago, my times would range from high 40's to 1:15 so the most important tip was practicing look-ahead. My problem is still finding a way to locate the "hidden" pieces quickly, I think that skill will come with time. The 30's started to pop up when I slowed down and forced myself to not execute faster than I could look-ahead. I am still working on that but slowly improving so if you can video tape yourself and find where you are pausing, that is where you are getting ahead of yourself. Intuitive F2L is good however, it would be worth looking into how to handle certain cases.
Metronome and slow practice will help improve F2L, I think the slow practice and metronome was key in helping me bring my times down slightly and gain consistency.

Again, I am only sharing what has helped me so try different methods and find what works best for you.
