how durable are the chinese magics

About a month ago I got a black magic from cube4you. I enjoyed it and probably solved it about a hundred times before a string popped the next day. I did not know how to properly remove strings so three strings popped when I was trying to pull it apart. I bought a store magic a few days later and didn't think much more of it, and planned to order some more strings sometime later. This morning my store magic popped and once again I accidentally broke a few strings removing the strings. I know however had more then enough strings to restring one of my magics. So I chose my black one and got to work. However about half an hour ago I finished my second set of strings and did about 25 solves right away. The magic felt a bit weird but it lasted out 5 sub 1.5 averages. After shutting off the timer I just did a solve for fun and the whole thing fell apart. Are these magics not even that durable, or is is something in the restringing method. I though I had successfully restrung many times and it took me many tries and it lasted 25 solves so I'm almost sure that it was strung correctly. I had TWO sets on so I just don't know what went wrong. I know these are the speed magics, but despite my efforts I can't seem to make it work. Do any of you guys have any advice on making these magics last more then they have for me. Are the red magics any better or should I just stick with storeboughts?
Thanks, sorry for the long post

I use store bought magics but I use one of my chinese magics for extra strings. I don't think they are very different in quality. Magics will break, it's just a way of life. :P

As for prevention of strings breaking, try using a paper clip/bobby pin to get the strings off.

Also, that I learned the hard way, when stringing magics, make sure the metal part is in the middle of the tile. If it's on the edge of the tile they will break a lot easier.

Edit: Just for future posts of your's, don't make your posts one big paragraph. It makes it a lot easier to read. :)

AvGalen all of my breaks are normally strings just coming lose, but my last one half an hour ago had a broken string
Vulosity Do you know which strings are the best and most durable, and advice on where to order them from
For my most recent re-string half an hour ago I started using a bobby pin, so it is much easier now, and I will try not to type in one big paragraph anymore.

Strings are hard to get in a set... They usually come with the magic.

I believe C4Y sells some, although I have stopped checking, and Tribox also sells strings.

You can also make your own strings with fishing line. I recommend you use monofilament (the cheap stuff) because it is cheaper, you can buy it in bulk and it has some "stretch" before it snaps.

I would make my own strings, except i can't find joiners or a knot for fixed lengths of line...

I restrung again today and just did 10 solves. On my 11th it fell apart again. I'm sure I've restrung correctly, I use the video int the tutorials section. I think today I'm just going to go buy a second storebought magic and next cube4you order I'm getting tons of strings.
