For assembly i heard that in rubiks DIYs at least, you need to make sure that the springs are the same length, i don't know if mine are the same, so is there some type of "test" that you can do to see if your springs are the same length?
take them out and measure them?
I really don't see how you can tell if they are in the cube. In the cube you would also have to factor in that maybe the sides just aren't all the same tightness exactly if you were trying to feel a difference in tension. Peronally, I have never heard of different length springs.
