EDIT: Or learn ZBLS and you can use ZBLL with CFOP

Yeah, I've just started learning some easy one alg solve cases! I don't know if I'll finish the subset though, cos VLS is pretty cool

Are you asking about a 1-alg LL method (as in, a method that uses a single algorithm in multiple different ways to solve the cube, like the sexy method), or a 1-look (and 1-alg) LL method (as in, a method that uses one of hundreds or thousands of different algorithms to solve any last layer case, like ZBLL or, more generally, 1LLL)?

In my opinion, you're a speedcuber as soon as you start timing yourself. The times you get don't matter, as long as you time yourself with the goal of improving those times.

I wouldn't really recommend this, but if you really want just one alg for the last layer, I'd look into the sexy method. It's not a good method for getting fast, but it does what you're asking.

Personally, I'd recommend you learn 2-look OLL and 2-look PLL if you want to move towards full CFOP. This is about 15 algs total, and you probably already know some of them.
