How do I improve my solve time?

I need some tips on how to solve my rubik's cube faster. I've already lubed it and loosened (and tightened) the screws. I need a trick or method that will help me solve my cube faster. If anyone can help I'll really appreciate it.

The trick is to use the search function.

The serious reply is this:

---How fast are you?
---What method do you use (or at least where did you learn)?
---How often do you practice, and what do you practice (just solving it, or certain parts of the solve)?
---Do you use fingertricks? If not, they are ways of moving faces of the cube with just your fingers, so that you can move faster, therefore solving faster.
---Do you know what look-ahead is?
---Are there any videos of you solving? If you can make some, do so. Check the Video Gallery for homemade videos so can get an idea of how to film a cubing video.

The trick to getting faster, is learning that there is not a trick to solve the cube faster. The only thing that will make you faster is research, and practice. More practice than anything. Once you see this, you'll go far. This concept can be applied to anything in life. You get what you put in.
