Eh.....
I'm still using a beginners Method average about 47 seconds and I'm pretty happy with it.I tried remembering algs I just can remember 1 alg in 1 month.
Experts in Cubing help.:fp:fp

1. Search function... there are a lot of topics like this.
2. just lets say like umm... U perm. R U' R U R U R U' R' U' R2... now just do it and do it until it's memorized a bit. so when you feel okay with it go away from the alg sheet and wait 5-10 minutes (without cubing) then come back and don't watch the alg and try to execute it from you're head. just do it so many times that you memo it.

I'm no expert, but maybe trying different techniques will help

Using the alg alot, to build muscle memory; Studying the alg and how it moves around peices to understand it; Umm, using it in regular solves, even if you have to use a sheet for a while; Doing it BLD, etc

Hehe, I know lots of tricks!~

Just do the alg at least 50 times.
But while you do it, try to split it up into groups.
Youll notice that in algs, groups of turns are often repeated, such as R, U, R', U'
So those sections are subconscious while you just have to remember the order.

Drill the algorithm, then take a nap.
When you wake up, drill the algorithm again, and youll notice a change.
I do this a lot, helps me greatly.

For me it's..Let's say the U perm R U' R U R U R U' R' U' R2.
I read the first 4 notations out loud '' R U' R U '' twice and then perform it.
I'll feel like their connected, and i continue performing these for moves several times and add in another four more so its like there are 2 R U's sandwitching 2 R Us. You have to find connections, flows like these that are easy to perform and also triggers such as R U R' U' , R' F R F' etc.

Use the "stop telling people to use the search function" function :)

Hey there are like tons of threads about it.. even I've written to many of those and watched even more of those.

Look for triggers within the alg (like R U R' U' or R' F R F')
Sometimes it helps to look at what it does to the F2L pairs.

Just do it 50 times while looking at the alg, then do it 20 times without looking at the alg, that's how I do it. (I don't do it 50 times though, the more algorithms you learn the easier it gets to learn more)

In addition to what others have said, here's how I do it.
Start off with a few moves, maybe 4. And do them repeatedly. Then add one or two more onto that, and do it a few times. Keep slowly adding moves until you can do the whole algorithm.
Then keep doing it repeatedly, trying to get faster and faster. Once you feel confident with it, stop for a while.
Either try again in a few hours, or the next day. DON'T let more than a day pass without practicing it again. Also, you might need to keep practicing the alg every single day for about 2 weeks or so before it will stick.

If you want to learn algs fast, for instance, one a day, it's quite possible. You just have to spend some time (maybe 30 minutes) initially learning an alg, and then spend some time practicing the other algs you have recently learned.

You'll learn best by repetition, so do the algorithm over and over. After a while you'll be able to do it without really thinking about it. i make them into a rhythm to differentiate between them all, but that's just me.

It's not always helpful for someone to say "practice" but really that's all there is to it, parrot fashion really. If there's a long alg break it into chunks and then put the chunks together. Also once you learn and alg correctly, walk away for a while, your brain will remember it correctly that way.

With the F2L which i'm learning the algorithms for, I say out loud the position before i do the algorithm e.g. One Right Backwards - One would be the white is on the right and piece is misaligned. That's getting me through them fairly quickly - you can also do it intuitively, Badmephisto is king for youtube vids on that.
