Hey I really don't have time to practice a ton of events atm, so I think I want to get really good at either Square 1, 3bld or 5x5. Right now I average 2:45 on 5x5 and I really wanna get sub 2 maybe, but 3bld is cool too, I havent practiced in a few months and my record is 4 minutes but I got really sad cuz i never got a record officially :( And square 1 just looks cool, though I have little to no experience with it, all I can do is get it into a square xD
So yeah, what do you think would be the coolest puzzle to learn? Thanks

If you really like the 3 of them, practice the 3 of them!

Although I'd suggest you to improve on 3BLD, because 4 minutes sounds like you have still a lot to learn, and practice until you get an official success, then improve your times.
And then maybe improve 3BLD and 5x5 at the same time (although 2:45 is quite good, I think).

About square-1, you could learn how to solve it, do a few official solves, and if you really really like it, keep going and get really good on it. Personally I like the puzzle but I really don't want to get good on it, being 'fine' is enough for me on sq-1.

What I do is practice only 5 categories, the ones which I know that I have a possibility to be good on national level, at least (that's my motivation). They are 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 3BLD and FMC.
But our cubing community is quite small, at least in comparison to others, so national level is not as hard to get as in, for example, the US

So, overall, I'd say: keep up the categories you enjoy doing, or those in which you want to get good. Just enjoy it and relax
