Hi new to this forum.
I began cubing i think around 6 years ago, got pretty heavy into it. Stayed with it for about 2 years, went to one competition. Got down to about 17sec avg for 3x3. and about 25 sec for OH. One hand was my fav event. i did bigger cubes but preferred 3x3. Then i stopped solving it competitively and just did it casually not trying to get faster at all.
Now im back. And im avging around 19-21 seconds. but my OH is utter garbage. Also i dont know all my oll only about 25 cases. and sadly i dont know full pll, probs only dont know about 4 lol. So i am going to work on finishing pll then oll and my times should drastically improve. Anyway good to be back. But i have a question, should i try focus on BLD more or oll and pll. BLD interests me soooo much, but i cant decide lol

i wanna go to another competition but prefer if im faster :) trying to make it a goal that next time i go to a competition i can do 3bld and be sub20

Hello and welcome back to cubing. It is great to have you here.

For when to learn 3x3 BLD, I would say to learn in soon since it is a lot more fun then it looks, and to be honest it is not as hard as it may seem. One of the biggest things to work on in any BLD event to to make sure that you have a solid memo system, but after that everything seem to come together nicely.
These threads are all dedicated to BLD talk, so if you are interested then check them out: https://www.speedsolving.com/forum/forums/blindsolving-discussion.16/
If you are looking for a tutorial for 3x3 BLD, then Jperm and SpeedCubereview both have some great videos on that, as well as Noah Arthur.

Please ask more questions as you have them, and I look forward to hearing about your cubing progress, and good luck getting back to where you were before you stopped cubing.
