Hi! I'm pretty new to cubing! :D

well for starters

1.you should be averaging around 45 seconds with LBL method alone

2. learn f2l first until your're comfortable with it.
3. learn 2 look oll and 2 look pll.
4. practice on f2l more and more and get into look ahead.
5.learn full pll.

you should be able to go sub 30 in about a few months of practice. good luck

lolwut?

It's never to early to learn Fridrich (assuming you can already use LBL)

Going back to LBL after learning Fridrich F2L is like putting your training wheels back on while you're learning to ride a bike. You'll fall less, but it doesn't help you practice something you should be learning eventually anyway. Yeah, F2L will slow you down a little until you get used to it, but reverting to LBL won't help you get used to it.

I think that what netiman was trying to say is that he hadn't achieved a solid 45 second average with LBL before progressing to the more advanced F2L and wants to reach that 45 second mark before going ahead with F2L further.

I don't think it matters how fast you are using LBL.
Why would you need to be fast with it, if you're not gonna use it anyway?
I started learned F2L when i was averaging 1:30.

Best analogy ever award.

End of.

ONTOPIC: Stick with F2L... Just think about the fact that "all" of the top cubers use it so it must be pretty speedy... :)
