I'm not a speed solver. I just like the cube.
3x3 I take around 3 minutes not doing any quick moves here. Just slow and steady.
Girlfriend gave me a 4x4 for Christmas. That takes around 40 minutes. I haven't learned the method to get round the parity issue yet. Currently I just twist the middle and solve again talking another 40 minutes.
Also got a 'lenticular' 3x3 for christmas. Not sure if that's the correct name for it. It's the one where they change color when you tilt it in the light. That took me 3 days! Just did it once. Haven't dared to scramble it again!
A few years ago I built a Lego robotic Cube Solver. Nothing clever there. I just copied the instructions and the smart-brick program from you tube. It just amazes me to sit and watch lego solve the cube.
