Yes, I understood what you meant about being the generation before me. And yeah, I guess it can seem weird because I'm older than you and yet the generation after you. Sorry, I'm not any good at reading Chinese (born and raised in Canada) although conversational Cantonese is fine. I would have to ask my dad to translate if you write in Chinese.
