(I think this is my second post in this forum lol)
You can't use a 3 cycle of edges to solve that, you'll have to permute those two edges only, which will also move the corners, but since you haven't solved them yet, you don't have to worry (I think, I'm not really sure which begginner method you're learning, the one I learned you solved: edge orientation, edge permutation, corner permutation and finnally corner orientation)
So to do this, what I used to do (because the algorithm is so easy and simple) was to adjust the upper face so that two edges matched with the underneath color, and I placed those faces in the front and the right faces so the "unsolved edges" where at the back and left faces (I'm not 100% sure, I don't have a cube in my hands right now, if this is wrong, try the following algorithm in a solved cube and see what it does) and do (this algorithm is called Sune, you may have heard it before):
R U R' U R U2 R'
And if you adjust by doing U' I think, you'll have the four edges in their correct position.
Sorry if this is not what you have to solve in this step in the begginer method you're learning, but I hope it helps
