I'm bored out of my skull and sadly enough, I've kind of lost my interest in cubing. For the 3x3, I've been stuck at an average of 35 for like months, and I just solved my big cubes (4-7) (I don't like to solve them multiple times in a row).

I'd like to start experimenting with FMC (not FML, lol) but I don't know where to start, and I heard you need a vast amount of knowledge of other methods, and algorithms so that ain't nothing for me either. Blindfolded cubing doesn't interest me either, there's way too much to remember and I'm bad at that.

Anyone know of other activities I can do with the cubes in order to revive my interest in them? :(

Try BLD, it really becomes easier when you learn a memory method and yeah, i was so happy when i did my first sucess. Isn't that hard, you know.
FMC(if that's what you thought) can be done with Fridich too, and, if you do that with Fridich, you can gain new tricks for solving maybe.
Or, you could try blockbuilding - ZZ, Roux, Petrus. Really interesting if you get a hang of it.

Oh, that was a major typo there, that's what I meant yes. :D
Thanks for the tips.

You DO NOT need to know a lot of algs for FMC.
They can help but typically you are better of with blockbuillding and commutators

Where to start: FMC thread and the great write up by AVG:
