Help Speed Me Up

You don't really need to learn COLL or CMLL or any other set of corner algs for Roux. Just the corner orientation and then corner permutation is enough. And then alot of the rest is pretty much fully intuitive.

And I got a pb time of 23 seconds using pretty much that method. It only took me a couple of weeks to get down to that time. So I think that Roux can also decrease your times kinda quickly.

before you try an advanced method, I'd learn Keyhole. It's not a whole method, it's just a technique for solving the first two layers without usign algorithms and much faster than the beginner's method. After that learn f2l and the two-look OLl and PLL algorithms if you want to learn Fridrich or just learn Roux. I personally like Fridrich more than Roux but a lot of people think differently.

is the keyhole method similar to f2l in fridrich? as i learnt this in the past half an hour and just need to remember it well so i can speed it up throughout the week. then i'll learn the rest.

No, it's different and easier than f2l. But you won't be able to master f2l in half an hour. I've been learning it for over a week and I still use keyhole for timed solves because I haven''t built up enoough speed with f2l.

Why do so many people act like your conforming and not being an individual by learning Fridrich? It's not like every beginner looking for a method that picks Fridrich is just 'following the leader' or doing what 'everyone' else does. They could have easily just picked it because they liked it, or because there are more resources available for it.
It seems like in everyone of these threads, people come along with Fridrich links, followed by some posts that advertise another method like a new product with good reviews. 'Be a rebel!' 'Don't conform!'

It's crazy -_-.

well i learnt it in half an hour if its where you make pairs in the top layer and move them to the bottom. but im very slow at it until i've had some practice.

i only use Badmephisto's beginner method and recently 2 look oll/pll which help and hinders my times and a big problem i solved the cross on the top so now started on the bottom.

i can get 40-50 second average atm.
my tip is. - practise the beginner method to sum 1m average to build up speed and spot cases. You may need a looser cube look at the wiki for lubrication.

once u hav a beginner method sorted and quick u can move onto 2look oll then 2look pll and follow the guide to sub15 seconds also on the wiki.

the cube in the vid is my storebought lubed with vaseline (yes i know thats bad), i usually use a cube4you lubed with silicone spray but the c4u stickers have peeled and i am lazy and havent restickered it with my vinyl stickers yet.
