Hi all,

This is my first post in this forum. I come from the spanish community www.rubikaz.com.

I have recently bought a 5x5x5 eastsheen supercube, and I have problems solving the last center. Does anyone know any algs that only permutate or move pieces in one center?. Or any method to solve the last center.

Thank you.

ErikJ,

Could you please be more precise?. I am not very expert on this, and I don´t know what you mean with "niklas style 3 cycle".

Thank you.

I suggest watching this tutorial by Thrawst:

*he talks about last 2 centers at 6:25

Let's say your center which contains the wrong permutated pieces is on U.

A very easy to follow commutator for a 3-cycle is:
Take out (exactly one!) piece out of the U layer and put it somewhere on the F/R/L/B face. This requires 3 moves. What you do now is: Turn the U layer so that the place where your piece you've just taken out (i call it X) belongs to. Then undo the 3 moves you just did. Now you've solved piece X, but another U layer piece is somewhere around your cube now. Just do the same with this piece and repeat that until your centers are solved.

(both x- and +- centers require 3 moves to take one center out)

Hello, This is the situation in which I have the last center.

I suppose that the 3 moves that you say are:

r u r' to take the pieces apart, but my problem is that if I do this, Y solve this center and scramble the one use for temporary pieces.

Thank you.

Sorry, but I don´t understand what you mean with the brackets. How many times do I have to do that move?. And The E means just to move the middle layer?.

Sorry for my questions, but is the first time I see this notation.

Thank you.

The brackets don't have any special meaning, i just wanted to group the moves together which belongs together.

And yeah, E is the middle layer (between U and D). And E means moving it to the right (at least that's what i mean ;)).

Lowercase letters like "r" mean turning the slice next to the R slice. At least that's what they should mean in my algorithm.

At the end I have been able to solve it.

What I have done is to use the www.bigcubes.com algs to interchange 2 pieces and to see what happened with the others. And with this, it has been easy to predict which one to interchange .

Thank you very much to everyone.
