Help getting faster...v2!

you embeded you vid wrong...

He doesn't have to embed it nor did he say he was going to embed it. anyway, suhas, you could've posted this in your other thread.

On topic, your recognition is probably your only problem.

no suhas tried to embed it but it didnt work, then he put the link thats why i deleted my post.

Yes, i did try to embed it... I still don't know how to... I'm such a n00b!!!:p
How do you embed videos??

Definitely recognition, and practice PLL execution. This should get you sub-25 averages at the least.

And lol at the video being an imitation.

Yeah. Badmephisto is my tutor...

Is there anything else i can do?? Should i start learning OLLs now, or F2L algorithms, or just practice look ahead?

I'm pretty much where you are right now (I just got a 28.51 Avg 12 yesterday) and I think the best thing is to practice look ahead. I don't think there's a need for F2l algorithms, since they're supposed to hurt look ahead and you can obviously solve F2l without it.

Others seem to have no problem analyzing solves from any angle, but I have a hard time until I can see the cube from above, as if I was the one solving it. If you make another video, consider pointing the camera "over your shoulder", so it looks like the viewer is solving the cube. Just an idea.

Brian.

sorry about the bad camera angle... I don't really have any place that I can keep the camera to give a POV perspective... I think the most I can do would be to place the camera above the cube, but facing the B-layer... So, you would be able to see the B and U layers of the cube quite easily... Would that be alright? Let me know and I'll post another video, hopefully within the next week...

Thanks
Suhas

As I said, a lot of people seem to have no problem figuring out what's going on from the angle you used. It's just me (and maybe others) that finds it difficult.

I presume you don't have a tripod or something like that, that you can use to get the camera behind and above you? Maybe you should tape the camera to your head like badmephisto did! (Kidding, but he really did do that!)

Even putting the camera on a stack of books off to the side, but as far back as possible might work, so we can *almost* see the angle you see while solving. Just some ideas.

PS: You're faster than I am, so I don't have much advice on your actual solves. :)

Brian.
