So i usually solve the 3 by 3 rubik's cube. I do not have a very good cube. My main method is cfop and i also know roux, zz, petrus. My rounded off averages are as follows.
cfop - 40
roux - 50
zz - 45
petrus - 1:20
I have learnt pll (excluding g, n and v perm). I am learning full oll and have learnt some cases.
It takes me 15 seconds to do last layer (2 look oll and mostly 1 look pll) and 25 for f2l + cross.
I think the reason for my slowness is that i am not able to execute them very fastly (Because of not having practiced them much) and i have very bad lookahead in f2l, and also because i do a few f2l cases intuitively.
Other than that i have learnt coll for pi and h.

I have tried mehta method today but it contains a lot of algorithms. I have tried to find out how nautalius method works but I got confused.
I will try to figure it out again

Mehta beginner is just a few algs and it's lots of fun

I solve this way:

FB > Belt > Eo, thats just 2 extra algs > f2l to solve the last two bottom corners > insert DR > PLL

Well, practice F2L, and make sure to be able to execute cases very fast. Once you can do that, practice look ahead, and you will have little to no pauses.
