I learned to solve a 3x3 about two years ago using the beginners method. I just started practicing again a few weeks ago. I started working on Fridrich F2L a week ago, and have brought my average down to ~1:35 (terrible I know, but a great improvement for me). I'm still getting used to F2L, and have been working on implementing few of the tricks I've learned from reading the forums so far (like placing F2L pairs in the back without spinning the cube around). I have a bunch of cubes already, but my main is my colored Guhong for now. I'll be giving my Guhong POM the 'ultimate' treatment tonight, and I have a Mf8 + Dayan 4x4 on the way. I hope to be sub 1:00 in about a month.
