Hello guys

I'm a rookie with a rubik's cube 3x3x3. I can solve it om about 2 minutes now.

Offcouse i'm trying to get faster. But do also want to get another toy to play with.

It looks like you have big experience in here. What should be my new toy???

The Best Way to get faster is by seeing somebody dó it and talk to them, so this might be something for you.
2 min. Will not win any medals but you can talk to some of the best Danish cubers.

hey! if you're looking for something more challenging than a 3x3, i suggest you go with bigger cubes, like a ShengShou 4x4 or something. I personally play with a 2x2 when i get bored with my 3x3. :) have fun at the forums!

Hi there!

There's not a clear progression everyone follows, so I'm gonna tell you what I'm doing

I bought a 3x3x3 and a 5x5x5 both very cheap (around $8 both) and both very poor quality from dealextreme, when I confortably solved both of them I ordered 4x4x4, 6x6x6, 2x2x2 a pyraminx and a megaminx, again all cheap (around $30) and poor quality and I stopped there for a while.

A couple of months later I bought a stickerless GuHong, a stickerless ZhanChi and a Square-1. I'm planning to buy a stickered ZhanChi or GuHong (I'm not decided) and some ShengShou (4x4x4 and 7x7x7, and maybe 8x8x8) next.

Answering your question, knowing how to solve the 3x3x3 You'l have fun with the megaminx and 5x5x5, both can be solved knowing beginners and a very easy alg for edges on the 5x5x5. Pyra is too easy, 4x4x4 and 6x6x6 are also easy, but you have to learn parities.

Right now I use most of the time on my 3x3x3, once you start getting faster is very addictive but you'll have to learn some more algs

Hope that helps :)
