My son (7y) and I have recently started learning to solve some puzzles. I bought him his first Rubik's Cube a few months ago. I used to solve a standard 3x3x3 about 20 years ago, but I have forgotten everything since that time.
Now I can solve 3x3x3, 2x2x2, Clock, Penrose's and piraminx. He can additionally 4x4x4, 5x5x5, megaminx, axis, fisher, mirror, skewb, square-1, ...
And he is much faster than I am :)
I'm struggling to get with 3x3x3 average below 60s. He is already ~40s.
We both use simple LBL, but he's recently started learning simplified CFOP.

He wants to be able to do all the official WCA puzzles (including blindfolded, one-handed, etc.). For christmass he is awaiting his 6x6x6 and 7x7x7.

Such a great hobby!

There: the new member isn’t under me
Me: Ofc, why would the new member be under me?
Ofc: Idk, you are the one who’s supposed to be asking that question
You: How would I know
I: Are you talking about me?
You: No I’m not talking about him.
Him: I was asking if you were talking about I, not me.
Me: You wasnt talking about me???
Martyt7777: Guys calm down
Guys: no
