Hello, Justin From Missouri

haha neat, cool to see another missourian! And so close, I work in cottleville :O
And a super fast cuber lives in cottleville too, I think his name is Austin Moore or something, He's a sub-10 and I believe he went to my elementary school.

@kunparekh18
what is TTW?? Sounds like fun to me, none of my friends irl are into cubing. Well my one friend is, but nowhere near enough.
Race to sub-30, sounds fun lol.

BigGreen is Austin Moore (three posts above this).

TTW = twisttheweb.com = a website where people chat and do solves.

No way lol, I read anthony brooks and thought that was his name lol.
Now that I look again its clear that that is a quote, what was I thinking lol.

Oh cool, thanks for all the info by the way, you're really helpful.

I use csTimer. I also have a stackmat timer, but I dislike it.

I tried to earlier today, but my laptop litterally up and died. Seriously. Mid-recording, the thing starts making louder and louder super fast clicking noises and then I got that blue screen you get when your computer crashes. Now it says "no device to boot"
I already googled how to fix it and I am working on it.

But I could make a quick video from my phone.
You know what, ill do that. :)

Here it a solve:

Good solve, but I wouldn't judge my skills over it. I get pressured when a camera is watching me.

Thank you! I know to look ahead, the problem is I am still trying to get familiar with my F2L. I've heard that what you're supposed to do is stop thinking about the Pair you're currently inserting, and look for the next one you could do. The only problem is, I HAVE to think about the one I am currently slotting, otherwise theres about a 50/50 chance I'll mess it up somehow. Sp I think I just need more practice on F2L. But I will try looking ahead more soon. :)

yea, eventually you'll get good enough to insert the pairs without thinking about it. You also seemed to take a bit of time to recognize the LL stages and which alg to use on PLL. You could try working on that as well.

I think you should really work on your cross. Plan it out during inspection and practice doing it blindfolded.
No, my cross is ussually excellent. But I see what you mean. I second guessed myself in the beginning. But usually I have a sub-3 cross at least. And yea, I have done it blindfolded and that was EXTREMELY helpful.

I don't know why I take so long for LL recognition. That is a recurring problem for me. I don;t understand how other people can just glance at it and know immediately what it is without seeing the other sides.

Ok, well it was just hard to tell that you're usually good with cross when in the video it took like 8 seconds. Camera jitters, perhaps...
