Hello, Im Edward

I'm pretty sure the higher-ups banned you because they don't actually want you here. Just sayin'.

Well it wasnt a permanent ban, so id rather just start fresh instead of coming back with a horrible record

You're evading a ban, which is a worse offence than being banned in the first place.

Also, if you wanted to start out fresh, why would you tell people you are elcarc...
Being candid about it actually stayed the executioner for him. If he'd tried to do it surreptitiously and gotten caught his other ban would have gone permanent like this one.

That's not what I was trying to point out. I was trying to point out that he was making a new account to mask the identity of his old account, which by telling everyone who he was, was a complete failure. This just augmented the appearance of stupidity that he was trying to eliminate.

Now just to point out another thing; after realizing that he had shown who he really was, he edited his original post to not include his banned nick. This is fine, however, in another post shortly after, which I see has been deleted by him, he reveled his real nick again.

Now, I don't believe anyone should get a permanent ban, unless they're a spam bot or something similar, of course. There's always time for people to change. I do believe that he should get an IP ban that is quite long, however. I wouldn't be surprised if he has already made another account in an attempt to mask his stupidity once again.

Haha, I wonder if that IP ban will work on dynamic IPs, or if one is behind 7 proxies.

(Perhaps so...I am not familiar with how they work.)

A proxy server will change your publicly visible IP to the proxy's IP, but if you're discovered then that IP will also end up banned.
