I've been speedsolving since 2017, but I took a long break between 2019 and 2022. I currently only compete in 3x3, where I average around 17 seconds, and Skewb, where I average around 7 seconds, but am planning on learning 3BLD and Pyraminx (I know, odd combo). Cubing is my main hobby, and I spend most of my spare time practicing, but maybe not in the most efficient way. My only other hobby that I really have time for is music, so to put it simply, I like learning stuff that has a high skill ceiling. Here in these forums, I think I will mostly just chat and discuss learning methods and probably quite a bit about Skewb methods, since it isn't really that well documented anywhere (at least not on an advanced level).

Good luck with your goals!

If you want 2x2 help for Ortega, ask me even though I’m not that good

Thanks for all the replies. I'll see which puzzles I choose to learn, and also, I am aware that quitting for any amount of time is a bad idea. I realized that after taking such a long break and returning not knowing how to even solve a 3x3 anymore. It was a good opportunity to learn more advanced CFOP, as I was basically doing beginner PLL and OLL before the break.
