Hello everyone! I'm Alex, 19 year old Mathematics student from Essex (unfortunately 
). Learnt how to do the Rubik's cube a long time ago but have just recently started learning about speedcubing and cube theory, and its so much fun. I've been trying to get faster at cross and intuitive F2L as I rush far too much and have literally no look-ahead as of yet. LL is slightly better, know 2 look OLL and PLL and some other random OLL and PLL cases (Na/b, J, T, F etc), and will hopefully have all 21 down by the time I head back to uni on the 13th.
My other hobbies include juggling (am working on my contact juggling and 5 ball cascades at the moment), diaboloing (experimenting with genocide and integral combos), eating biscuits (getting through some chocolate digestives at the moment, thats going well), Texas holdem and of course cubing.
Current non lucky best time is around 31 minutes for 3x3x3 and I average 45ish. As for hardware, I have a type C at the moment and have just ordered a DaYan GuHong as I heard they were good and its nice to have lots of cubes around ;-).
Hope to get to know some of you guys and improve as much as possible over the next few months.
