Hello, you can call me Rascal, I'm 20. I just started cubing November 2 of this year. I am super motivated to learn more about speed-cubing! So far I've done a few cubes, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, and 5x5 (once). I also have a mirror cube. Right now I am focusing on 3x3, my average is about 45 sec and I hope to hit sub 30 by new year's. So far, I've learned 2-look OLL & full PLL. Off topic, I'm into collecting coins and working with electronics. I also have fun customizing my vehicle, a Ford Bronco. Sorry to make this so long... See ya later

UPDATE May 31, 2023

Here are my times so far:
2x2: 10.67 ao100 (PB 4.58) Ortega
3x3: 20.49 ao100 (PB 13.48 full step)
4x4: 2:01 ao5 (PB 1:39.15)
5x5: 4:57.88 ao12 (PB 3:13.71)
7x7: 12:41.52 ao5 (PB 11:04.60) Redux

3x3 OH 45.74 mean

I'm going to start learning some OH last layer algs soon and maybe the rest of OLL, right now I know 17 of 57. Also focusing on my new 7x7 MoYu AoFu WR M.

Welcome to the forum.

You cube since one month and already know Full PLL, 4x4 and 5x5? 👍

That's quite fast. I think of you continue in this speed, you can make the sub 30 until end of year.

I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that you can solve that many cubes ALREADY. The first cube I learned was a 2x2 and it still took me two years to start getting me interested in the 3x3. So, overall, that's pretty good.

I hope so, I just finished learning PLL so I'll need to work on recognition still but then I'll focus on F2L.

I'm learning the 4x4 parity algs, but I still need a cheat sheet to finish the last layer sometimes.
Thanks for the welcome!

My brother had a Rubix's brand cube when we were younger, but I didn't even own one until last month. I looked up a tutorial from Jperm on youtube and just fell down the rabbit hole of speedcubing haha. Its been really fun so far.

nice bro but the thing is that you are spreading into a lot of puzzles which can lead to you prioritizing more events over others like 2x2 over 3x3 or 5x5 over 4x4 and me as a person who averages 29 to 31 it is a bad habit as a beginner

Currently at 1300 timed solves. From Nov 6, 2022 - Present. Ao100 27.09. I learned 8 new OLL algs (dot cases) and working hard on understanding F2L focusing on sub 20 now.
