Hello everyone! I am relatively new to this place, although I have been reading the board for almost a month, I just decided to introduce myself :)

I am a 19 year old girl (will be turning 20 in exactly 10 days!), originally from California but live and study in Mexico; English is my second language (Spanish being the first) so please excuse me if you see any grammatical mistakes or incorrect phrasing.

I got interested in cubing around 4 years ago and was taught the 'layer-by-layer' method. I than proceeded to learn how to solve the 2x2, 4x4 and 5x5. Later on, I started solving other puzzles as well: square-1, megaminx, pyraminx and skewb. I am currently looking forward to buying a v-cube 6 and 7, probably for my upcoming birthday.

As an additional note, I have terrible hand-eye coordination, the fact that I can solve a cube is just amazing for me, it motivates me to keep getting better. I recently learned F2L and I am in the process of learning full OLL and PLL to improve my times. My times are very inconsistent (from around 45s-1:05) not counting lucky solves (oll/pll skips).

And for those who would like to know a little about me... I am attending university and majoring in Engineering in Digital Graphic Design, and would would like to pursue a master in Bioengineering in the future.
I also like music (can play a little guitar) and love animals.

I think that's enough for now. I have joined many online communities before and like following the rules, so I will stick to: using the search function and not making pointless threads. ;)

What's this, 2 new girl members in one day?

Welcome. Good to know that you can already solve several puzzles, but even more so that you know basic forum rules: No pointless threads and use the search function. That's a relief.
