Hello, My names Anthony and I recently got back into rubiks cube solving after about a 2 year break. I currently only know 2 variations of the beginner layer by layer method and my best time is a not so impressive 1.42 or 1 minute and 42 seconds. anyway I want to improve my time to below 1 minute and it seems most people on this site are below 40 seconds so I look forward to that day. anyway hey

Thanks, I have looked into many of the advanced methods I have read about and most of them I dont understand yet but I will figure it out in time. Once I can reach maybe 1.30 consistently I will look into a method just a little better than my current one and progress as needed.

haha sorry i dont want to be a **** but 1.42 minutes doesnt equal 1:42 :D k im done
if you practice you will get sub 40 EASILY!!!the day WILL come
and welcome to speedsolving.com!

Hi anthonym!

It's alright if you get 1 min avgs (I used to get 2 min avgs). Just practise alot and be an engaged learner. Soon, you will have sub 40 avgs to even sub 15!

a year ago i was at 2 min averages, i worked hard but still had a lot of fun over the past year and got down to an 18 second average. Using knowledge easily found on this site and other cubing related sites you will be able to improve quickly.

welcome to speedsolving :)
