This is just a ctrl+c ctrl+v of my bio
I am a cuber from the Houston area. I started around January last year when our school offered a class that taught you how to solve the 3x3. I used the beginners method at first but quickly picked up F2L. I averaged around 40 seconds and won a school mini comp with the AoLong v2(LOL everyone was using beginners except for me). After that a kind of forgot about cubing. I started again in March of this year with the WeiLong GTS. I learnded full in about 3 days PLL while picking up on random F2L and OLL algs. For my birthday, I tried to persuade him otherwise due to its price, my friend got me the GTS M. I love this cube and it got me my first sub 20 Ao5 and a PB 15.54. I can execute all my PLLs around .9 for EPLLs and Jb, 1.5 for the easier PLLs, and around 2 second for the G cycles, V, and N perms. I know 2-look OLL with about 30 OLLs total. I average around 21-22 seconds with a few lucky Ao5 breaking sub 20. My best Ao5 is 18.45 (sorcery), Ao12 19.93, Ao50 is 21.4, and single 15.54 (also quite ridiculous(my look ahead was so good on that solve and I even recognized a x-cross case. I feel my best aspect is my last layer. I can average about 5-6 seconds on it. My worst aspect is my F2L. I pause for a split second for most of my pairs. However, my F2L algs (mostly intuitive) are quick. My cross I feel is quite decent. I can usually do my cross in about 3 seconds but sometimes I completely fail in my cross prep and mess it up. When I do, I solve all but the last edge and solve F2L from there, putting the last edge in when it works with the F2L pair insert (freefop?). I am currently learning full OLL and wish to bring my overall average below 20 seconds. Other than the 3x3 I can solve the 2x2 in about 6-7 seconds with the 2x2 CFOP equivalent (solve a layer then one look OLL and PLL). Funny enough, I don't currently own a 2x2 and the only times I solve them are when my friends let me use theirs. The next I would branch out to are either 2x2 (sub 5) or OH (sub 45).
