Happy Pi day!

I currently can get 220 but a couple years ago I knew 374. I've won my school's memorization contest more than once >_>

I memorized this much of pi for pi day 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592307816406286208998628034825342117067982148

(ok, ok, i promise to stop bumping old threads. if i do it again, you can ban me. well, not really, but still)

LewisJ:
Your school has memorisation contests? Lucky. Our school isn't nearly as cool enough, even with a computer teacher who has a book entitled 'The Joy Of Pi'.

What was the best for second place?

3.14159265358790 is all I know... might be wrong, its easier just to use the pi function on a calculator :)

EDIT: 3.14159265358979

Meh...little rusty

we had a free period today, and someone in my homeroom recited 231 digits....
i know 3.141592653589793238462643383279502... i don't know if the last digits are correct though

Serious? Is that today??? :p
The main reason I didn't notice this is that in Belgium, we write it otherwise (14-03-2012)
My record was 190 didges 6 months ago, but I stopped, don't know why.
And of course...

Happy pi day!!! :)

I of course celebrated with all of my classes today. They brought in pie for extra credit, a few students wrote papers, and we had a contest to see who could recite the most digits. The most any of my students did was 57. Then we played Pi Day Jeopardy! It was a good day.
