Hey all,

I'm Ronald, and I started solving cubes around christmas 2014. At first it was simply about solving the cube, but as I did it more often, I noticed I got quicker and quicker, and that's what got me into speedsolving.

I've been more serious about speedsolving since about a month, but know I have a long way to go.

Mostly focussing on 2^3 and 3^3 for now, but will add in 4^3 soon as well.

Originally from The Netherlands, but currently working as a web developer and living in London.

The Glorious North 2015 will be my first official comp, so hope to see some of you there!

Thank you all!

Last time I've timed myself I was averaging around 60 secs for the 3x3, and 20 secs for the 2x2. But have been focussing on learning F2L and more PLL algs in the meantime, so I'll do some more timed solves later this week ;)

Thanks all!

And thanks Berd! I don't plan on starting BLD yet, but perhaps over time :)

As I've just done the solves for the weekly forum comp, I have some up to date averages :)

2x2x2
14.76 (13.21), 14.89, 14.52, 14.86, (43.58) Made a big mistake in my PBL on the last solve, so had to start over from scratch
3x3x3
54.35 48.80, (43.86), 58.45, 55.79, (1:04.90)

I'm using CFOP for the 3x3, and ortega for the 2x2.

With CFOP I'm mainly focussing on F2L and PLL at the moment. F2L still requires too much searching, thinking and lots of rotations, so that's something I'm trying to improve, while also learning more PLL algs.
