Haiyan Memory - Different in black or white?

I purchased a black Memory a little while ago (and really like it), so I ordered a white version as well. Having received it today, it is a very different cube to the black version. The centre pieces are very slighty lower than the the other pieces, and it generally feels completely different.

I've taken both apart and compared the pieces, and they are completely and utterly different.

Fortunately, both cubes are nice to use, so I'm totally fussed. I was just wondering if this is normal, and whether anyone else has had a similar experience?

Hmm, could one of them be a Haiyan's Haiyan cube by mistake?

Hmm, is there anyway you somehow got a regular Haiyan Cube? I also have a memory in black and white and they feel the same to me.

That's a Haiyan's Haiyan cube, not the memory
