Guhong or F ii ?? (both pre-assembled and pre-lubed)

lol!! i am getting confused :S
don't know which cube to choose

are Zhanchi and F3 much better than GuHong and F2?

Zhanchi is 2 generations ahead of Guhong and the F-III is a generation ahead of f-II, typically, that would mean the newer ones are better. I do not currently own a Zhanchi or F-III but I do have a Guhong and F-II. The Guhong and F-II are both amazing cubes and I use them both as my main speedcube interchangeably.

I would say buy the Zhanchi or F-III.

The Zhanchi is supposed to be the newer version of the Guhong, both made by Dayan. If you can afford the Zhanchi I think it would be the better cube, but I have not used either the Zhanchi or the F3 because they are so new. I do have a Guhong, and when lubed is supposed to be the best cube, which I think it is because it is smooth, fast, and cuts corners well. The Zhanchi is supposed to be a Guhong with no pops (because of the torpedoes :D), and have less of a clicky feel, which means it will be smoother. I am going to buy the Zhanchi eventually. So I suggest getting a Zhanchi and lube it with Lubix or Differential Shock Oil (50,000 wt works best.) Or wait until Donovan makes an Ultimate Lubix Zhanchi at lubixcube.com, which would save the time of lubing and moding the cube yourself.

Good luck choosing,
-Aaron

To the OP: Both are really good cubes. Personally the Lubix Guhong from lubixcube.com is my favorite cube, but obviously other people have different opinions. Some great 3x3s are the GuHong, FII, AV,and apparently the ZhanChi is good, but I don't have one so I'm not sure. What cube are you using now, and what do you normally average?

Newer isn't necessarily better. The LunHui was also newer than the GuHong, and that thing does nothing but explode all over the place.

Objection! I've never had my LunHui explode or pop. I find it to be better than the Guhong. (That last statement was nothing more than me expressing my opinion.)

When I had mine, I tried tensioning it, modding it, cleaning it, and everything. Either it was slower than my GuHong (and therefore useless to me), or it was faster but I couldn't do 3 solves without a 5 or 6 piece explosion. I couldn't even do a Z perm, or anything with M turns, without an explosion, also.

I guess it's just me then. :P

Idk what's OP, but seems like that's me.
I use a store bought Funskool Rubik's cube (zero corner cutting, lots of lock ups) and average about 1 minute using the CFOP beginner's method.

One more query!
Should I get the Shengshou 5x5x5 prelubed(maru lube / CRC / lubix service by icubemart) and which one is better.. Shengshou(stickered) or Shenshou(tiled)?

OP is the starter of this thread, in this case he meant you :3
(Dunno what it stands for exacly, maybe Original Post, I just know what it means)

Shengshou 5x5 is supposed to be good, dont have one yet so I cant help you with that
Stickered or tiled depends on preference, I like tiled better, but some people like stickered

Thanks all! So finally i'm getting a GuHong :)

what about the Shenshou 5x5x5?? lubed/not lubed? and which lube?

i would go for lube. if you want to lube it yourself, you don't need to order lube service. if you want lube service, go for maru lube or lubix.

Lubix is good, but to lube diffrent sort of puzzle, if you don't want to disassembly them maru is better.
