Not a great 3x3 round 1, 8.06 average, plus 2ed out of 7.39 PR4. Not going to say much becaue idgaf. 7.91 average in round 2 with counting 8.7 or smth, idgaf about that either. Semifinals had potentially the worst scramble set I had ever seen officially. I spend wayy to long on the first three solves trying to decide if I was going to do white or yellow, which led to me not planning cross on 1 and 3, and not planning first pair on 2, which is pretty diabolical. At that point I wasn't on pace to even make finals lol (although who knows, everyone else did bad as well), so I decided to pick a cross color early so I could plan a good back pair on solves 4 and 5, and got a 6.3 and 7.21 (comfortably made finals with that). 8.81 average, reallyyy bad but idgaf because I clutched finals and scrambles were bad.
I'll save 3x3 finals for last. I had actually practiced 5x5 this week after not practicing for around 8 months, so I was hoping for a PR average (my 1:08 average was pretty bad for me when I got it). I didn't really warm up at all though, so I started off with two 1:15's that kind of ruined it. Ended with a 1:10 average.
I had also actually practiced 2x2, and was hoping for sub 2.5. Didn't happen though, because I was hit with pretty bad scramble sets in both rounds.
Mega is mega.
I have never done a blind attempt before this. On all three solves, I attempted to memo just 7 edges, and I succeed in that every time, so I'd say I did pretty well ngl.
Then it was time for 3x3 finals and I AM THE GREATEST CUBE OF ALL TIME AND NOBODY CAN BEAT ME (except for the three people that did).
I was incredibly nervous going into the round for some reason. I started off with a shaky 5.58, which I wasn't really happy with. I then got a 6.8 with 5 F2L pairs, so I wasn't too happy about that either. Clean third solve though; fast F2L, ZBLS, ZBLL. I locked up a bit on the ZBLL, but I still got a counting 5.89 which is goated. I knew at this point that I needed like an 8 for sub 7 average, so I decided to go a bit safe on solve 4. The scramble was pretty bad, but I was able to start well, getting to PLL at sub 5. I knew this could be another 6 or even a 5, which made me lockup heavily on the T-Perm. Still a 7.20 though, giving me a 6.65 WPA! I'm super happy with that, and it's great to finally break the sub 7 barrier. My last solve was an 11. It was probably the easiest scramble and could've easily been a 6 (or a 5), but I messed up, but it's whatever. Still unbelievably happy with 6.65! 6.11 BPA as well.
Could've very realistically been a ~6.2 or 6.3 average without the mistakes on solve 4 though, and I'm hoping to get something like that in the near future.

bruv so lucky i’m not even close to vacationLocking in for the next three weeks for both 3x3 and 4x4 since I've already completed most of my assignments (and spring break next week). Hopefully I can get a sub 7 ao1000 for 3x3, and maybe sub 30 global for 4x4? Still washed, I'm averaging like 33. but I can probably drop that back down to 31 soon.
Also comp this Sunday, maybe sub 6.5 average?
Exactly, spring break here is in 3 weeks for just 1 weekbruv so lucky i’m not even close to vacation
