Hey everyone!:)

I'd like to introduce myself to this forum. My name is Daniel, and I am a 13 year old in Ontario, Canada. I started cubing about a month ago, and I love it! I got my first cube fro Christmas one year, and it was a Rubik's 3x3. I played with it for a while, but I did not play with it again until last month. I started when I has nothing to do, and I saw my cube on the shelf, and I thought to myself, why not solve it? So I when online and searched up how to solve it, and sure enough, I learned it! My PB for the 3x3 right now is 2:18. Then I learned the 2x2. My PB for it is about 21 seconds. But after a bit of use, one of the corner pieces broke off, and I need a new 3x3 now. :( I want to get the 4x4 too. Right now, I am still trying to get sub-15 on my 2x2, and sub-60 on my 3x3 when I get a new one. I like this forum a lot!

Hi Daniel252,

Once you get a new 3x3, come back and check these out...

I assembled some 3x3 methods that can be used to solve the cube in under a minute without memorizing of a bunch of algorithms. However, both of these methods still have useful steps and algs that are used for more advanced CFOP.

The first is called DSEF and it uses known algs and steps in such a way so that a beginner only has to memorize 1 alg (sune) and 2 sequences (4 moves each). I also turned this method into a step-by-step website and app. http://solvexio.cf

Links to one-page quick reference guides are below:
http://solvexio.cf/app/#/DSEF_OnePage
http://solvexio.cf/app/#/FIXLL_OnePage (4 Look Last Layer and uses only 9 main algorithms)

I hope some of that will help you!
