Does anyone use some kind of latex gloves for solving a Rubik's Cube?

I doubt many people are "hardcore" enough to be using gloves for extra grip...

Is it even allowed in WCA Competitions?

Tim.

I don't understand all this fuss about grip ... just rubbing the cube against your t-shirt and cleaning your hands in the same way works fine. There's really no need for textured tiles, latex gloves and whatnot.

And textured tiles actually makes your hands kind of sweaty...or the tiles itself sweaty...and it kind of gots disgusting after a while. But that's just my opinion I guess....

i agree with Harris. I personally think that you can get a better grip with stickers than with tiles. i can only imagine that gloves would be a hassle unless they would give you some unknown power enabling you to solve faster :P.
