Getting centers right in 4x4 Mirror cube solve

Hi,

I have been doing some solves with the new Diansheng 4x4 Mirror cube.
When I am doing centers, I am not completely sure if I have gotten the orientation right. Do I solve 2 corners just to check if the widths of the centers match, how do I make sure my centers are correct?

I use Hoya method on the 4x4 normal speedsolve, but here I am using Redux just to be safe. How do I go about doing Redux correctly?

I would think Yau would be the way to go on mirror as well. It should be relatively easy to find and build the smallest and largest centers opposite, build and solve the 3/4 cross and that would serve as the reference point for E centers
