I have a hexagon-1 and I've yet to find a consistent way to get it into cubeshape. The general idea of "get all the edges in a line and divide" (eg the beginner sq1 cs method) doesn't seem to work here because the number of sides (excluding top and bottom) is divisible by three. Any ideas for a technique that'd work on any of these types of puzzles regardless of number of sides?

I believe through trial and error I've come up on one. I haven't come up with a more flushed-out idea than this but getting the CS to be symmetrical along the slice has been a very successful strategy.
