I know it's an old puzzle, but I really do enjoy solving with it. I feel that it would greatly improve from magnets, however, the corner design doesn't allow it. Is it somehow possible to magnetize it without too much difficulty or harm to the puzzle? I might be willing to pay someone to do it, depending on costs.

ive magnetized 2 of them... what do you mean the corner design doesn't allow it? I recommend doing It speedcubereviews wayy that he did it the second time.

The corner seems to only have two parts for me, the stem and the block. How do you separate the block?

356 v2 is a unique cube. It remains (in my opinion) the only cube ever invented that can never lock up if properly lubed/tensioned. Quite remarkable. It's huge drawback was the inability of the slices to stop at 90 degree angles (overshoot). With magnets it could be insane.

I figured out how to take apart the corners, I'm magnetizing it right now! I'll let you know how it works out :D

Ok so I magnetized it but I can't feel the magnets at all, I suppose they're much too weak... I'm not sure what strength they are.
If anyone has a good Gan356 V2 M with magnets that you can feel and are helpful but not too strong (like the gan UM) then I would buy it for a reasonable price.
